Yea, Nay, Or Eh? January In July

-------

Consider Sunday nights spoken for once again—as of last night, Mad Men is back on the air. We were among the many to tune in for the latest adventures of the gang at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce—not to mention the out-of-office drama of the ex-Mrs. Betty Draper. January Jones does sixties glamour to a tee onscreen, but as she proved last night at the show’s New York premiere, she can do modern gal just as well. She chose a fringed, beaded Atelier Versace mini for the occasion, paired with a braided updo, the better to spotlight her dress’ plunging back. It’s a bolder look than Betty would ever wear, but we think Jones does Donatella’s design justice. What do you think—yea, nay, or eh?

The dress is beautiful, color, model and fabric, but I wonder, how behave with it due to length? It is difficult to move naturally. I think that feel beautiful is about feeling comfortable, too.

She looks much better here than in the first episode of season 4, where our Betty is gearing up to look much older in suits which just do not seem to reach the glamor and life of the stylist’s Jackie O inspiration! Help I want the old Betty back! Or More Jackie O and less Jackie Old!
