RIP, Tony Curtis

A fond farewell to Tony Curtis, Bronx boy made good, consummate swordsman (and not just in The Vikings), nobody’s slave (not even Laurence Olivier’s), cookie full of arsenic, and—lest we forget—a man who looked better in a dress than any starlet (with the possible exception of his Some Like It Hot co-star Marilyn Monroe). The world is a duller place this morning.
