The Lanvin/H&M Trailer You’ve Been Waiting For, It’s “Showtime” For Baptiste, Banksy Meets The Simpsons, And More…

Turkish blog Zet Fashion won the coveted right to broadcast the new Lanvin for H&M Trailer. (Yet more proof that Turkey is having a big, big moment.) Head over to see Leigh Lezark serve Alber Elbaz tea in the new spot (though, suffice it to say, MisShape tea service not included with actual H&M purchase). [Zet Fashion]

Baptiste Giabiconi, Karl Lagerfeld’s model/slash/attendant of the moment, is working on an album. He recently hit a French TV show to debut a brief clip of his first single, “Showtime,” which sounds—well, let’s just say it could use a little work before it makes the Chanel Fall ’11 soundtrack. Speaking of videos, Banksy contributed one to The Simpsons last night: The art-world adored graffiti artist did his own version of the famous couch sequence from the comedy’s opening credits. It’s a pretty scabrous look behind the scenes of Springfield (and, by extension, the entire world of TV merchandising, from T-shirts to stuffed animals). How your Simpsons sausage gets made, in other words—judging from the cute-critter grinder Banksy imagines in the underground lair, literally. [YouTube via Dazed Digital#&93;

And it’s been rumored forever, but with the paper of record weighing in, it’s looking like a done deal: Verizon to get the iPhone in 2011. [NYT]
