St.-Trop. To MePa, Copping Chez Coco, Versace Keeps Up With The Jones, And More…

-------

It never goes far out of style, but Saint-Tropez enjoyed a renewed moment in the sun this past Resort season, when Karl Lagerfeld led the troops there for his collection presentation. Didn’t make it? Neither did Jeffrey Kalinsky, owner of New York and Atlanta’s Jeffrey boutiques—so Chanel is setting up a six-week pop-up shop modeled on St.-Trop’s Café Sénéquier at his Meatpacking District store. Cheaper than a flight! (But with what you’re likely to spend there, maybe not by much.) [WWD]

Like Coco Rocha’s New York apartment? It can be yours. The model’s pad is on the market—it was recently dropped to a mere $1.59 million—so she and new husband James Conran can move to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. [NYT]

Get a sneak peek of Valentino’s capsule collection for the Gap, created to celebrate the American retailer’s debut in Italy. But if you want it, get ready to travel—it will be available only in Milan, Paris, and London. [Telegraph]

The new face of Versace: Betty Draper—uh, we mean January Jones. Donatella Versace has tapped the Mad Men star for her latest campaign. Close watchers shouldn’t be too surprised: Jones has favored Versace dresses for months now, and showed up at the label’s Spring ’11 show in Milan (left, with Allegra Versace). [WWD]

Lanvin x H&M hit stores this weekend, and the crowds, predictably, went wild. Reports are coming in from all over of endless lines and pre-dawn queuing-up: By 6 a.m., there were reportedly already 100 people waiting outside a San Diego H&M. [Racked]

And Thanksgiving is this week, which means Black Friday—the discount-shopping day that occasionally leads to sprees—is just five days away. Saturday Night Live offered a parodic take on discount mania starring a Four Loko-addled Anne Hathaway; here’s hoping it remains a cautionary fable, rather than a reality. [Hulu]
