Will You Join The Peek-A-Boo Pack In 2011?

We’ve seen sheer on runways here, there, and everywhere for the past several seasons. But in 2010, daring starlets like Blake Lively and Emma Watson took transparency to the red carpets, offering fans suggestive glimpses of bare skin. At the Paris Vogue Bal Masqué—arguably the fashion fête of the year—diaphanous dressing was practically mandatory.
Editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld set the tone in a Givenchy number with a few well-placed leopard spots (a hint that she was about to take a leap?). The dresses that supes Mariacarla, Natalia, and Lily D.
slipped into for the occasion, meanwhile, left just as little to the imagination. And see-through isn’t just for after-dark, as this photo of Abbey Lee Kershaw demonstrates, although it does help to have legs up to your neck.

I love this trend! i think if used the right way you can be chic and sexy without having a cleavage that goes down to your belly button which, usually looks horrendous. Sheer gives you the oportunity to play a lil hide and seek between your body and the world. and the greatest part of it is that it comes in every shape and type of gear, so you can choose what you wish to show. Loved the Gwen Stefani look, very street-friendly and urban. sadly its snowing like mad, so probably will wait a little bit to push play on that trend. lol. XOXO

I don’t know if I’d really do a sheer bottom but I see nothing wrong with a sheer top..even it you happen to go bra-less and flash A LITTLE nipple, remembering that there’s a time and place for everything!

  3. In_The_Know says:

Abbey Lee’s jacket is by Willow and is available at elizabeth charles. And if you don’t want to go sheer, there’s a matching skirt.

  4. Natasha_Bess says:

Gives us the option of going Gaga without looking like a costume. Yay!

  5. fionath8 says:

i’m totally joining them (if i get these new kilos off at any time this year, that is…)
however, i’d work a bodycon mini with the seethrough skirt on top of it

  6. wendywilson says:

Do you know who the designer for the skirt is and where it can be bought?
