Kate Spade Settles At “Seven Henrietta Street”
Kate Spade New York has been exploring London lately: The U.S. brand recently tried out a month-long pop-up shop in a Georgian town house in Covent Garden. That house is the scene of a sweet, twee new video commissioned from the music video director Kinga Burza. Polish-born Burza knows her way around a pop song—she’s directed shorts for Katy Perry, Kate Nash, and La Roux—and sets the Kate Spade New York collection to a chatty little ditty by French chanteuse SoKo. The English actress Anna Brewster (who’s modeled for Aquascutum and Links of London and appeared in Vogue Italia and Glamour) plays the KSNY girl, for whom, according to the label, “Understated is overrated.” Check out the exclusive debut of “Seven Henrietta Street” below.
