The Aisle New York Launches Today

As of today, planning a trip down the aisle won’t require a trip to the bridal salon—just one to your laptop. The new e-commerce site The Aisle New York, which offers discounted flash sales of bridal gowns and accessories as well as a selection of full-price, current-season product, launches today with goods from Monique Lhuillier, Amsale, Jenny Packham, Oscar de la Renta, and Ranjana Khan, with more designers plus exclusive designer collaborations on the way. Brides aren’t the only ones who’ll feel good about the site, either: A portion of the proceeds from each gown sold will go to a charity of the designer’s choosing. “Philanthropy and feel-good shopping are part of our DNA,” explains co-founder and co-president David Yassky, a former bridal market editor for Women’s Wear Daily. Think of it as a little good karma in the bank in case a few Bridezilla tendencies get the better of you along the way.
