Reed Krakoff And Steven Sebring Come Together Again For A Look At Spring


Reed Krakoff and filmmaker Steven Sebring—the man whose Patti Smith: Dream of Life was partially responsible for last year’s Patti mania—are longtime collaborators and friends. Their latest project is a look at the work behind Krakoff’s Spring 2011 collection, which means plenty of opportunities to see collection muse Stella Tenannt. “Steven and I have collaborated together for many years and I have so much appreciation for his work, both as photographer and filmmaker,” Krakoff tells “Making this film was an incredibly personal experience, as Steven genuinely understands my design process and has this innate ability to capture something that I look at as ‘everyday’ and turn it into something poetic.” We’ve got your exclusive first look here; the full film—along with the Spring 2011 collection—launches tomorrow at

    that’s it? really. a boring and pompous piece. i loved when he said “i don’t really think of a specific woman when designing, only the aesthetic”. i wonder what his WIFE thinks?
