The New Pregnancy Trend: Sheer?

A new class of mothers-to-be are celebrating their pregnancies in style—and definitely not covering them up. January Jones and Charlotte Gainsbourg, both visibly expecting, have both stepped out in recent days in sheer black outfits: Jones (above right) in a more casual Alternative Apparel silk modal boyfriend tee and jeans while shopping in L.A., and Gainsbourg (above left) in a see-through black gown at the premiere of Melancholia in Cannes. But street-style blog watchers may remember that the trend isn’t, strictly speaking, new: Stylist Julia von Boehm (bottom) who wore a similar look way back in 2009.

Ahem, you’ve mixed up your right and left with Jones and Gainsbourg.
On another note, good for them. Maybe more attractive with a smaller bump but nice to see women keeping things sexy and interesting while they’re preggers.
