Just Kids (And Their Moms)
Despite their busy, Emmy event-filled schedules this past weekend, Hollywood moms turned out to support Stella McCartney’s charity event. With their young ones in tow, the likes of Selma Blair and Monet Mazur fêted the woman they refer to as the ultimate über-mom and her adorable pint-sized kids’ collection. (McCartney, however, didn’t even make it across the pond for the event because she’s busy prepping for her upcoming runway show.)
For the occasion, the back of McCartney’s Beverly Boulevard boutique was transformed into a carnival. While kids took their turns in the petting zoo (rumor has it the flock was fresh off the set of Lady Gaga’s latest music video), the moms shopped (after all, 10 percent of all proceeds of the day went to the Children’s Action Network).
“I really kind of wish I worked for Stella,” Blair, who recently returned to acting, told Style.com while she cradled her 7-week-old son, Arthur, in her arms. “Not only is she a friend, but it’s an organization that pays incredible attention and care to a woman’s and family’s needs, which is just so important to me right now.”
