The Gucci Murderess Would Rather Stay In Prison Than Work, Hailee Steinfeld Out At Miu Miu, Doo-Ri Designs For Macy’s, And More…

-------

Patrizia Reggiani, the woman who murdered her ex-husband, Gucci heir Maurizio Gucci, has been in prison for 29 years, and it looks like she would like it to stay that way. She reportedly declined an Italian court’s offer of day release because she would have to get a job as part of the deal. She told judges she would “rather cry in a Rolls than be happy on a bicycle.” [Vogue U.K.]

Miu Miu has swapped out its 13-year-old campaign star Hailee Steinfeld. In her place, they have picked 34-year-old model Guinevere Van Seenus for Resort 2012. [Telegraph]

Macy’s is giving Target a run for its money in the designer collaboration department. Giambattista Valli’s collection is set to bow next week. Up next: Doo.Ri for Impulse, in stores February 15. [WWD]

What’s on the minds of British men these days? Wool flat caps. The Telegraph reports that flat cap sales are up by 75 percent so far this fall at Marks & Spencer. The reason for the surge in flat cap popularity “remains unclear.” [Telegraph]
