Tiffany’s Gets In The Gatsby Game, Harrods’ Couture Childrenswear, Backstage Pass With Karl Lagerfeld, And More…

Tiffany & Co. has created a one-of-a-kind jewelry line inspired by the upcoming Baz Luhrmann film The Great Gatsby. For the collection, Tiffany went through its archives from the era and designed platinum and diamond-encrusted headpieces, rings, and bracelets for the collection. [WWD]

How much would you spend on a dress for your child? Harrods is hoping almost £2,000 isn’t too far out of your price range. The retailer will soon be selling a dress by Italian brand I Pinco Pallino, embellished with Swarovski crystals, in their childrenswear department. [Vogue U.K.]

The abrupt end of Alexa Chung’s last show, It’s On With Alexa Chung, might have left a sting, but not for long. She’s back with a new series, 24 Hour Catwalk, in which each episode tracks four designers competing for a $10,000 prize in the course of, you guessed it, 24 hours. [Telegraph]

For a fashion special called Fashion: Backstage Pass, CNN sat down with Karl Lagerfeld to discuss the legacy he’s created at Chanel. The show airs Saturday, but in a sneak preview, Lagerfeld says, “The label has an image. It’s up to me to update it. What I did, [Coco Chanel] never did, she would have hated.” [Huffington Post]
