Tyra Banks Tops Book Charts With Modelland, Paul McCartney Ties The Knot, Christian Dior Salons Open To The Public For The First Time, And More…


Tyra Banks’ debut fiction book, Modelland, has become a New York Times best seller. The book has secured the number two spot on the list and has reached number one on the Barnes & Noble charts, and is reportedly going to be adapted for the big screen. [Vogue U.K.]

Sir Paul McCartney married Nancy Shevell in London yesterday, on what would have been John Lennon’s 71st birthday. The Beatle and his new wife wore outfits designed by McCartney’s daughter Stella. [NYT]

Next weekend, LVMH will open the doors of 25 of its “heritage sites and workshops” to the public. During the two-day event, visitors can take a look inside the haute couture salons of Christian Dior, where Dior showed his first collection in February 1947. [Telegraph]

Stephen Webster, known for his “Gothic, rocker aesthetic,” is trying his hand at bridal jewelry. The collection, launching this month at the jeweler’s Mount Street store in London, includes engagement rings, wedding bands, and earrings. [WWD]
