Duchess Treat: An Outfit For Kate’s Every Christmas Occasion

On our daily scan of the Daily Mail, we noticed a story about Kate Middleton’s dress code for her first Christmas Day at Sandringham House. The Duchess of Cambridge may be required to change up to five times in less than 24 hours—for breakfast, church, lunch, cocktails, and dinner. A schedule like that could put even a street-style queen like Anna Dello Russo to the test. We’ve just posted our top picks for festive holiday dresses; here’s what we’d choose for Catherine if she hired us as her personal shopper. Kate, if you’re reading this, we’re available.

very uninspiring wardrobe – and not brilliantly styled either 1) the breakfast look is “wishy-washy” and cream satin slacks for a function that requires eating I know she is royalty but a spill is possible and a cream slack hello ? and flats with slacks I think are inappropriate for royalty she is not having a java at a Starbucks. 2) I agree with a suit but I do not think that Catherine has the personality to pull this one off and how that phillip treacy hat does anything for that suit is beyond me – so she is all in cream looking like a vanilla sundae 3) that floral frock is pretty the clutch nothing special and a cream granny shoe neither clashes nor marries with it just looks a bit cheap 4 ) then from all floral suddenly she is the princess of goth ? 5 ) what every girl wants to wear for a xmas evening = her grandmothers negligee ….hmmm

I think you did a great job. Looking at the clothes they did remind me very much of the Duchess. I want it all, especially the lunch time dress!
