The SAG Nominations Kick-Start Awards Season

-------

This morning, the nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced, marking the beginning of the 2012 Oscar race (and, more importantly, the red-carpet best-dressed competition). This year’s SAG Awards was ripe with newcomers and bright prints (cue: Hailee Steinfeld in the striped Prada dress that proved to be a game-changer for the teen star) and the awards show pros like Nicole Kidman, January Jones, and a pregnant Natalie Portman (who, of course, went on to win the Oscar for her Black Swan performance).
