From Miami, With Love

-------

Beach weather is on the way. Tomas Maier—he of the eponymous swim label, as well as creative director of Bottega Veneta—is at the ready. In time for the season, Maier has relaunched the Web shop of his Miami-based label with new and expanded offerings: the new Spring ’12 TM collection, online now, and for the first time, the mix of curated and often exclusive Maier and third-party products previously only available in his Miami, Palm Beach, and Hamptons stores. They include all of Maier’s men’s shirting, women’s shirtdresses, mohair blankets, and hand-woven Sardinian bags, as well as jewelry, sandals, and candles and scents by Diptyque, Ciré Trudon, and Serge Lutens. “I decided to offer the entire store experience to my clients,” Maier told Style.com, “as our stores are not located in typical shopping destinations.” Not for long. Maier revealed that he’s hoping to open a store in Manhattan this fall.
