In Honor Of The Diamond Jubilee, We Pick Fashion’s Most Royal Frocks

What Queen Elizabeth II will wear to her Diamond Jubilee remains TBD. All we can say for sure is it’ll likely be made by a Brit—she stuck with Sir Hardy Amies for the first half century of her 60-year reign. But if she decides to break with tradition, there were plenty of regal pieces on the recent runways. The key lime skirtsuit from Oscar de la Renta‘s Resort show has “Her Royal Highness” written all over it. And to accompany the two-piecer, we suggest Valentino‘s dainty ankle-strap pumps with the very doable low heels. QEII has no shortage of crowns, so perhaps Dolce & Gabbana’s floral headpiece is best for her granddaughter Kate.
