Bugging Out

The inspiration for Jason Wu’s latest Resort offerings came from an unlikely source—artist Mike Libby and his taxidermy beetles. In Wu fashion, however, the designer translated insects into elegance, creating intricate “mechanical” bugs by using hundreds of Swarovski Elements crystals (pictured) and then attaching them to brightly colored cocktail dresses.
