Tim Hamilton and Seth Price Bring Folklore U.S. To Germany, And More of Today’s Top Stories

Tim Hamilton has collaborated with Seth Price on Folklore U.S., an installation of paintings and fabric sculptures on display in the Friedrichsplatz Parking Garage in Kassel, Germany, as part of dOCUMENTA (13). Aligning with Price’s interest in military tailoring, Hamilton designed a collection seven garments, including a bomber jacket, flight suit, and trench coat. [Galerie Capitain]

This summer’s Olympics are drawing quite the crowd. Rumors have surfaced that some of Britain’s most iconic supermodels, like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, will appear in the Closing Ceremony in London on August 12. The models will reportedly be wearing clothes by Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. [Telegraph]

Kate Moss’ modeling days are brushing off on her hubby, Jamie Hince. The British rocker is starring in a new photography book entitled Dream & Drive alongside his Kills band mate Alison Mosshart. It’s going to be a big year for Chloé. The French house is getting ready to celebrate its 60th anniversary, with a handful of special events lined up. The party will kick off with a September 28 exhibition at the Paris’s Palais de Tokyo prior to the release of a Rizzoli tome. Then, shortly after the label’s Paris catwalk show, creative director Clare Waight Keller will oversee the opening of a new 4,300-square-foot flagship store on the Rue Saint-Honoré.
