Peter Som Cancels Fall '13 Show

It was announced today that Peter Som has canceled his Fall ’13 womenswear show, which was slated for February 8 at Milk Studios in New York. A representative for the company confirmed that Som is designing a Fall ’13 collection, but it has not yet been determined how or when he will present it.

Som, who launched his line in 2001, is known for his punchy prints and feminine approach to sportswear. He formerly designed for Bill Blass (from 2007 to 2008) and, for five seasons, consulted on Tommy Hilfiger’s women’s range. Som broke off the partnership before Spring ’13. We have reached out for further information, but Som has yet to comment on his decision to forgo fashion week.
