The Latest MePa Hot Spot? H&M
It’s no secret that H&M’s been stepping up its game—what with its lavish debut runway show last Paris fashion week (left) and the launch of U.S. e-commerce earlier this month. Today, the high-street retailer takes it a step further, announcing a new pop-up on Gansevoort Plaza, in New York City’s Meatpacking district. Open from August 22 through August 24, the 2,000-square-foot store will be furnished with a live deejay, eight dressing rooms, and a limited selection of the Fall ’13 collection. August 22 also marks the hotly anticipated release—or rather, pre-sale—of the brand’s souped-up catwalk range.
