Colette Robbed By Two Armed Men-------
Sarah Andelman’s Colette, fashion’s favorite Paris-based concept store, was robbed by two masked, armed men this morning. Carrying a pump gun and an axe, the thieves forced six employees to the ground before making out with an estimated 600,000 euros worth of merchandise, mainly luxury watches. The attack occurred just after the rue Saint-Honoré shop opened at 10 a.m., and follows a string of jewelry robberies that have taken place in Paris this year. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the Colette heist, and fashion insiders have expressed an outpouring of love and support for the store and Andelman on social media. The Colette crew is staying strong in the face of adversity, and announced via Instagram that, despite the incident, the boutique will be open as usual today until 7 p.m.
