Listen to a New Track By Lana Del Rey

It seems that Lana Del Rey has cured her “Summertime Sadness.” In last year’s popular warm-weather jam (which actually came out in 2012 but exploded in the summer of 2013 after it was remixed by French DJ Cedric Gervais), the artist sings of “dancing in the dark in the pale moonlight.” Well, it seems like SoundCloud’s latest leak may be Del Rey’s direct follow-up. Titled “Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight,” the song surfaced last night, just ahead of Del Rey’s Ultraviolence tour, which kicks off at Coachella next weekend. The new tune not only boasts the heady, legato melodies we’ve come to love, but also funky guitar riffs akin to the groove of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.” Does it have the potential to become a summer anthem? Absolutely—no remixing required.
