Even though I was just a kid in the nineties, I feel like I’m actually experiencing the decade’s trends thanks to the latest surge of nineties nostalgia. With that in mind, I was very excited to see the new MyTheresa capsule collection of reissued Calvin Klein classics, which launched Wednesday. (Kate Moss’ little sister, Lottie, is the new face.) The CK logo sweatshirts are probably selling out as we speak, but I’m gravitating more toward these light-wash overalls. I’d wear them rolled-up with slides and a striped tee during the day, then elevate them with strappy sandals and a red lip for evening. The added bonus? They totally fall into the “art-teacher chic” trend we’re into right now. Rest assured I’ll be wearing these to Sunday brunch, not pottery class.

Nothing comes between Calvin Klein and the Moss clan. Kate Moss famously posed for the label’s ad campaigns, alongside Mark Wahlberg, back in the nineties. Now her younger sister Lottie Moss is taking a turn as the face of the iconic American sportswear label. For its new Re-Issue Project with MyTheresa, Calvin Klein Jeans asked the 16-year-old to sport updated versions of its nine most classic pieces. The campaign was lensed by photographer Michael Avedon, who is also a legacy with the brand—his grandfather Richard Avedon photographed Brooke Shields for CK.
The capsule incudes original high-waisted skinny jeans and tapered jeans (popularized by none other than Kate), as well as denim jackets and shirts. The collection launches on MyTheresa on July 16, with prices ranging from $105 to $415. Here, a first look at the campaign.
With her fortieth birthday coming up next week, we’ve all got Kate Moss on the brain. But there’s another Moss in the headlines today—Kate’s half sister, Lottie, who has just been signed by mega London agency, Storm Models. Last night, on the eve of her sixteenth birthday, Lottie posted a snap of her new Storm portfolio page to Twitter. It only has twenty-one favorites at the moment, but given Lottie’s looks and the fact that Storm helped her half sis skyrocket to stardom, we have a feeling she’s about to expand her following.
Giorgio Armani opened his newest hotel in Milan (in the same building as his flagship store) yesterday, which he describes as a place for “work, relaxation, and pleasure.” The amenities include a glass restaurant on the seventh floor with views of the Duomo and an “eight-floor panoramic beauty and treatment center, gym, and pool.” [Vogue U.K.]
Watch out, now there are two Moss models on the scene. Kate Moss’ half-sister, Lottie Moss, already models for the family’s vintage shop, but modeling agent Sarah Doukas of Storm arranged a test shoot for the younger Moss with photographer Andrea Carter-Bowman last month, and she will reportedly be shooting with Mario Testino in December. Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo has teamed up with the Keith Haring company on a small collection of sweaters and T-shirts, available in Comme stores now. The lambswool and cashmere sweaters have “beloved symbols from Haring,” like the “radiant baby.” [Hint]
This was no Victoria’s Secret fashion show, but the 14th annual New York Chocolate Show runway extravaganza this week was just as sweet. The models strutted down the runway dripping in outfits made of cocoa and Nutella. [Gothamist]
