This summer’s athletic champions may have left London in August, but the city’s Olympic hangover lives on. Case in point, last night’s 58th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, which, held in association with Burberry, bestowed the Beyond Theatre honor upon Danny Boyle for his eccentric opening ceremony extravaganza. Naturally, anyone who can convince the queen to parachute with James Bond and seamlessly assemble a show with Paul McCartney, somersaulting NHS patients, and an inflatable Lord Voldemort is deserving of recognition. Team Great Britain gold medalist Victoria Pendleton handed the director his award at the Savoy Theatre. But she wasn’t the only one keeping with the theme. Burberry favorite Jourdan Dunn, on hand to celebrate along with BFF Cara Delevingne, Mario Testino, and more, was a vision in (Olympic) gold. And though she’s second place to no one, Dame Judi Dench picked up her Golden Seagull award—for contributions to global theater—in silver.

When supermodel Doutzen Kroes saw the recent cover of Vogue China, she was surprised at what she saw. The magazine had photoshopped her image so that she looked as though she only had one leg. “I think photoshopping is OK until something like that happens,” she said. “You don’t want to lose one of your limbs.” Agreed. Kanye West showed his short film Cruel Summer in Cannes last week, but it’s not the film that has people talking, it’s the over-the-top pyramid where he showed it. Word on the street is that the film and the pyramid will be making their way around the world. [Styleite]
