Fashion Week Countdown: Top Of The Charts, Ready For The Runway

The people have spoken. The music site Pitchfork asked its readers to submit their picks for their top albums of the past 15 years, and nearly 28,000 of them did. The results: Radiohead. Thom Yorke and co. took three of the top 10 spots—including #1 and #2—with OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows. Of course, the band has been a runway favorite for years. Radiohead has scored many runways in the history of fashion week and is a mainstay at one in particular: Rag & Bone. Yorke is friendly with co-designer Marcus Wainwright and has stepped in to provide a catwalk playlist several seasons running. According to the label, we can expect another one this season, too. Crank it up.

Snoop, Top Dogg At Coachella

Top models (Karlie Kloss, Hanne Gaby Odiele, and Raquel Zimmermann), designers (Alexander Wang), and celebrities (Kate Bosworth, Katy Perry, and Lily Collins) decamped to Indio this weekend for Coachella. Photographer David X. Prutting was on the scene for, capturing the crowd as they took in the headline acts and hit the party scene. What musician proved to be this year’s biggest draw? Two words: Snoop Dogg. The likes of Fergie, Josh Duhamel, Rose McGowan, and Chanel Iman all told us they were there to catch the rapper in action. There was also, of course, a large contingent there for Radiohead—including Alek Wek, Kloss, Jessica Szohr, and Ruby Aldridge—and the Black Keys, Wang and Zimmermann among them. In case you weren’t about to make the trek to the desert this weekend, here is’s postcard from Coachella.

Sweet (Thom Yorke Approved) Music At Rag & Bone

Attention all indie rock fanatics: If you are attending tomorrow’s Rag & Bone show, you must prepare to have your mind blown. Not only will local legends Albert Hammond, Jr., and the National be seated front row, but rumor has it that one Thom Yorke (of Radiohead fame, duh) has curated the Rag & Bone set list. Rag & Bone designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright are maintaining a strict “no comment” policy on this one, but here’s the skinny: No, Thom Yorke will not be there; no, Radiohead is not playing a surprise gig; yes, you may surmise what you please from the fact that Yorke wore Rag & Bone’s “Cleveland” jacket when he performed at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. (Lil Wayne was rocking a Rag & Bone scarf, too.) In other, less swoon-inducing musical news, Jimmy Fallon will also be at the show. You may remember his 2002 comedy rock album The Bathroom Wall. Or, you know, you may not. Bootleg away, kids.
