Boys 3.1; Brenée—It’s On; And More…

Phillip Lim wants to dress your boyfriend and you should probably let him. His menswear gets its first solo presentation slot this season. [WWD]

Just when you thought you were mastering this recession spending thing, Loeffler Randall launches an e-commerce site. Surely you’ve scrimped enough this summer to splurge on some new “louche boots”? [WWD]

Sorry, ladies. It looks like Bradley Cooper is forming an attachment to Renée Zellweger. It was touch and go for a while, what with the Cooper-Aniston union rumors, but this just might be the real deal. It’s not late to get to Barcelona yourself if you want to put a stop to this. [Page Six]

Getting Friendly With Andy Lecompte

Newly reunited friends Rachel Zoe and Nicole Richie and old “friends” Sam Ronson and Lindsay Lohan all stopped by Andy LeCompte’s intimate little Thursday night party, co-hosted by his friend Jenni Kayne, at the stylist’s West Hollywood salon. Lohan, who wore a sexy vintage seventies Azzedine Alaïa frock with a new pair of Alaïa boots, mentioned that she’s currently recording an album. Of her something-old-something- new-look, the newly trim actress explained she buys mostly new these days, but remains a fan of vintage and even owns a Chanel dress designed by Coco herself. Over popcorn, Champagne, and candy, LeCompte, who opened the salon with business partner Leanne Citrone, said he’s back on tour with Madonna come this summer in Europe and that he recently styled her for an upcoming W magazine spread. lindsay lohan legs it to bendel’s

It was pandemonium at Henri Bendel last night when Lindsay Lohan stopped in to showcase her new leggings line, 6126, and pose for pictures with squealing fans. And while rumored girlfriend Samantha Ronson wasn’t there (she did provide the soundtrack), Ronson’s mother, Ann Dexter-Jones, stopped by to check out the line. “We named it 6126 after Marilyn Monroe’s birth date,” explained Lohan, who was outfitted in shredded black leggings. “She’s such a timeless figure and an icon and I wanted to give an ode to her.” (This would be Lohan’s second ode to the actress, the first being her re-creation of Monroe’s famous nude session with Bert Stern for New York magazine earlier this year.) The collection, which includes paper-thin leathers, foils, solid colors, and all-over animal-print leggings (some with stirrups), and a new foot accessory called an “ankle glove,” also gives a nod to Lohan’s fashion idols. “These are Chanel-inspired from the quilted purse,” she said of a black pair with quilted leather knee patches. “And these were inspired by Alaïa because he did leggings with the side open that I wore on Ugly Betty. So I did them with lace down the side.” Though Lohan’s East Coast stops mostly involve catching up with her Long Island-based family, she had some other must-hits this time ’round. “I always have to go to Kirna Zabête and see what’s going on there,” she said. “And Madonna had her show, so of course I had to go to that.”

we just can’t get enough of kate

Kate Moss (the girl is on a roll this week) will be the subject of a career retrospective at Les Arts Décoratifs in Paris next year. Think she’ll be able to handle all the attention?

Words of wisdom from the New York Post: “If you don’t want to get photographed topless wearing a mermaid costume, don’t go to P. Diddy‘s star-studded White Party topless wearing a mermaid costume.” We really couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Two breaking-news items that will shock you: Lindsay and Sam are dating. Clay Aiken is gay. Were you sitting down?

all in the family, ronson style

Ronson-mania! Saturday night saw the kids of Mick tie one on family-style, as Mark and Samantha Ronson joined sister Charlotte at Country Club to celebrate her Spring ’09 collection. Yes, Lilo showed, along with fellow paparazzi-bait Nicole Richie and Benji Madden, and yes, super-producer Mark jumped on the decks, as did his half-brother Alexander Dexter-Jones, and yes, it was pretty much a typical night for the Ronson clan. Had family dynamics influenced Charlotte as a designer? “Well, this whole collection was sort of about, how does a girl who grew up going to rock shows want to dress now?” she explained. “Very easy, pretty, but not precious. I wanted some of that ‘whatever’ attitude.” “Whatever” had indeed emerged as a theme at Ronson’s show earlier that day—many of the tops and dresses had been cut and layered to look as if they were about to slip off. But the big slip-off happened later, as the Ronson crew packed up for yet another celebration—this time, for Mark’s belated birthday party. “I didn’t get to see him on his birthday,” said Charlotte, “and I wasn’t even sure if I’d see Sam tonight, because she was maybe supposed to DJ somewhere. But I’m really happy we got to have a family night, after all.”
