Leave it to Alexander Wang to make geology cool. His debut collection for Balenciaga sent models down a cool Carrera marble runway in matching marble-swirled tops, pants, and even fur jackets. Needless to say, a trend was born. Ever since, we’ve been drawn to raw stones and natural prints for everything from chunky jewelry to our home décor. And with summer on the horizon, we’re searching for statement-making turquoise pieces, too; it’s the one color that never goes out of style. Rest assured we’ll leave no stone unturned this season. Shop our favorite rocky wares by Robert Rodriguez, Nina Ricci, Thierry Lasry, and more, below.

After a brutal winter and virtually nonexistent spring, it’s safe to say this year’s seventh-annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, set for May 31, will mark the official warm-weather revelry. Each year, New Yorkers, athletes, and celebs alike hop a ferry to Liberty State Park for their chance to wear a cotton sundress (or the menswear equivalent), swill champagne at 10 a.m., and watch Nacho Figueras conquer the field. To the uninitiated, it sounds like a scene from The Great Gatsby. Even if you don’t have a ticket (they sold out almost immediately), you can still get a taste of the experience with the event’s official T-shirt. This year, Tibi designer Amy Smilovic created a limited-edition white tee with a splash of canary yellow paint. A first look debuts exclusively here on Style.com. “After our Spring ’14 collection, the paint splatter quickly became one of our iconic prints,” Smilovic said. “A lot of editors wore the full skirts to fashion week, so we wanted to do a twist on that and re-create the print in Veuve Clicquot’s signature yellow.” The T-shirt will be available on-site the day of the match, but you can order yours online at tibi.com starting May 7. Tees cost $48 each, with all proceeds benefiting the Council of Fashion Designers of America. (Smilovic has been a member for years.)
While Smilovic admits she is far from a polo expert, she already has the perfect ensemble in mind for the big event. “My team is killing me because I keep pulling things from Spring ’15! But I just want everything to be crisp shirting material. I’ll be wearing something in poplin, like a full poplin skirt or a crop top.” A glimpse at what’s to come next season? Perhaps. For now, we’re happy sporting these easy tees—while sipping a glass (or two) of Veuve, of course.
The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will take place on May 31 at Liberty State Park, New Jersey. Tibi for Veuve Clicquot T-shirts will be available on-site, and on tibi.com beginning May 7.
Although “festive dressing” doesn’t typically appear in our sartorial repertoire, we’re guilty of making exceptions for truly great finds. It would be wrong not to add a jingle-bell pump or tinsel-covered clutch to your party ensemble. Ditto for the perfect crimson circle skirt or timeless fir-green lace blouse. Our tip for staying chic throughout the holiday season? Maintain a touch of irony; anything too precious runs the risk of looking like a Christmas ornament. Shop our favorite festive pieces by Charlotte Olympia, Valentino, Tibi, and more, below.

“I felt there was a void for fine jewelry with a casual attitude that doesn’t feel ‘precious,’” said Tibi’s Amy Smilovic of her first foray into bijoux. Available from today, the breakout effort is a collection of three pieces made in collaboration with Los Angeles-based designer Anita Ko. The partnership came about spontaneously after a chance meeting and brainstorm session last summer. At that point, Smilovic was already a long-time fan of Ko’s jewels “because they were luxurious, but not out of place with jeans and an oversize sweatshirt,” she told Style.com. “Her designs are pared-down and practical with a bit of an edge—all attributes I use to describe Tibi’s aesthetic. So when I was ready to create jewelry with our brand’s DNA, it made sense to do this with Anita.” The new capsule includes a “floating” earring, which mimics the look of a multi-piercing cuff, as well as a dagger pendant, and square, stackable rings that sit above the knuckle. Each style comes in 18 karat gold (rose, white, or yellow) and features micro-pave diamonds—a Ko signature. The made-to-order wares, which range from $3,000 to $6,000, will be sold exclusively in Tibi’s Soho flagship store and on Tibi.com.
