The Spring 2030 Model Of The Season

From the Gucci pregnancy to Purple‘s new bundle of joy, it’s been a baby-packed seven days for the fashion set. Not to be outdone, Gisele and Tom Brady welcomed their second child and first girl, Vivian Lake, into the family this week. The runway may never be the same.

Fashion Week Countdown: A Super Sabbatical

Ready or not, here it comes. New York fashion week is just over two and a half weeks away, and while the non-fashion world enjoys the last gasps of summer, we at Style.com are busy ramping up for the Spring ’13 shows. For the next few weeks, we’ll look forward by looking back—at our favorite moments from fashion weeks past.

Gisele confirmed today what everyone already more or less knew: The world’s most photogenic woman is pregnant, again. Great news for Bündchen and Tom Brady, less great news for runway obsessives, who may have been hoping to see her on the runway this season. (She presumably will be sitting this one out.) We’ll always have the memories. Style.com’s Gisele directory has over 500 of her best catwalk moments. And hey, there’s always next season.

Take a lesson from Charlize Theron—do not auction yourself as a dinner date for charity. The Snow White and the Huntsman actress divulged to Conan O’Brien that “it’s like the worst idea ever,” recalling the time she ended up on a date with a “strange” man. It’s safe to say the actress will stick to donating money from now on. [Page Six]

Fresh off his CFDA win, Billy Reid is taking no time off to relax. With a menswear business worth $20 million in sales this year, the Alabama native is riding a retail expansion wave. Having just opened his seventh store last week, a 2,500-square-foot space in the Provisions District of Atlanta, Reid has announced he already has plans for his eighth outpost, in Austin, Texas. Is there another baby Bündchen on the way? Rumors are circulating that the Brazilian beauty and her husband, Tom Brady, are expecting their second child, after various news outlets have reported that the supermodel told Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, who dressed Bündchen for the Met gala, that she was two months along so he could adjust the dress accordingly. If you ask us, there doesn’t seem to be any bump in sight, but then again, she’s Gisele. Stranger things have happened. [Telegraph]
