I went to Tokyo for the first time in November and was absolutely in awe of everything about the city. The product design was outstanding, and the detail in everything and the intelligence in design—I loved it.

I got lost trying to take a shortcut one day on my way to a meeting—there are hardly any street names, so you better have a good sense of direction if you try and take shortcuts!—but it was a serendipitous wander because I found this amazing vintage kimono store and ended up spending hours searching through fabrics and kimonos. These are just some of the fabrics I ended up bringing back.
