“Sophie Fontanel, best-selling novelist and iconic editor of French Elle, tells the provocative story of her decision to stop having sex—a choice that profoundly changed her view of herself and her place in the world.”
What I enjoyed in the book is the strength Sophie Fontanel had to do whatever she felt was right for her, even though society had different expectations about how she should live her life. And that, I find, is inspiring.
Her choice of not having sex belongs to her because she should do whatever the fuck she wants. (Easy joke.)
It’s actually a loss for a numerous amount of boys or girls, as she is one of the most simple, fun, and smart women I know.
Her book is like her.
The Art of Sleeping Alone came out last week in the U.S. Enjoy!
