Atelier 7

There is a little gem tucked away in the cozy neighborhood of Notting Hill where your sleeping beauty awakens under the spells of Josh and his amazing hair colors, and of George and his wonderful pair of scissors.

Atelier is this magical realm where they treat you like a queen and make you look like one, too. Filled with beautiful flower arrangements, Atelier has a heavenly Jing tea menu, delicious and healthy juices, personalized iPad playlists, and a very well-curated selection of hair products.

Josh, one of the most sought-after hair-color specialists in the world, founded this haven of beauty. Although his clients include Laura Bailey, Elle Macpherson, Dasha Zhukova, and Kristen McMenamy, Josh remains one of the humblest and most talented people that I have met.

Lately, I went for an ombré look, and Josh made my hair appear sun-kissed with some very natural and luminous blond shades, which I usually get after a few weeks of surfing. My hair quality looked even better than before the coloring.

Then George, a master in the industry and a regular at Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar shoots, cut my hair into a sharp bob and blow-dried it with natural beachy waves in the same effortless way he blow-dries Gwyneth Paltrow, Alexa Chung, Cameron Diaz, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s hair.

Snowstorm or not, you should head over to Atelier and start your New Year with a blow!
