Since 2000, the French multidisciplinary company Surface to Air has been creating so many cool projects involving music, design, photography, and, not least of all, fashion. Their men’s and womenswear, under the creative direction of Aldric Speer, have been sold through some of the leading concept stores around the world. They have been looking for a head designer for the womenswear line and have just hired Danish designer Stine Riis to take the lead. The talented Dane, who until recently had spent a few seasons running her label, has her credentials in order. She was the first winner of the prestigious H&M Award and was also awarded the Best Student Worldwide award by Vogue Italia.

Her first collection will hit the stores in June 2014.
