Below, I recommend a few of my personal essentials for spring 2014. They are my carry-every-day items lately.

1. Brioni navy jacket

This is Brioni’s two-button jacket in navy. I bought it at my favorite vintage market in Seoul. It doesn’t look trendy, but I want to wear that sort of classy silhouette.

2. Ray-Ban folding aviator sunglasses (RB3479)

I wanted to buy some new sunglasses, and I found this functional Ray-Ban model at the Fifty Seoul flea market. These aviators have crystal-gray mirrored lenses with a solid metal silver frame. I like the small Ray-Ban case, too.

3. Uniqlo linen cotton sweater

Sweaters are popular all year round for me, but the weather is getting warmer day by day, so I want to buy a sweater that is not such a warm material and that feels nice to the touch. This Uniqlo sweater is the best within those parameters, since it’s made with roughly equal proportions of linen and cotton.

4. Supreme x Incase iPhone 5 & 5S case

I bought Supreme’s limited-edition iPhone 5S case at the Fifty Seoul flea market, too. Actually, it’s a bit too loud for me, but it’s good to keep one thing for just in case.

5. Prada black loafers

Prada is famous for its classic designs and sophisticated, dressed-up look. I find loafers wear well, but not just from traditional brands like American sportswear . I saw these pretty loafers, and that was that.

On another note, as I heard the tragic news of some students’ deaths in South Korea’s Sewol ferry disaster, even now my heart is heavy. Dear readers, please pray for South Korea.
