In a tiny town called Edison (marked by census at half a square mile) is an incredible find called the Tweets Café. Owned by two guys (2 percent of the population, since the town has just one hundred people), it was the most happening place on a Sunday afternoon.
Known for their jicama tea and torta rustica—a dainty puff-pastry crust stuffed to the gills with lots of meats, potatoes, and cheese—Cute, cute, cute was all we could keep saying about this place. The desserts were mmm, mmmm, mmmmm, too. And only fifteen minutes from here is where the annual Tulip Festival is in bloom for just four weeks of the year!
