The tour ventured up to Canada this week, and we played in Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. While I’m not a coffee drinker (green tea is my daily pick-me-up), everyone else made sure to visit Café Medina for their lavender lattes and waffles as soon as we got into Vancouver.
Long overnight drives on the bus are not always fun when you’ve been on tour for eight weeks, but the drive from Vancouver to Calgary was one of the most beautiful we’ve done this trip. We all seemed to wake up unnaturally early by accident and sat mesmerized in the bus’ front lounge watching some of the most incredible scenery I’ve ever seen fly past the windows. In the last week we’ve gone from desert heat to Canadian snow, so our wardrobes are perpetually confused. If you ever get the chance to take a road trip across Canada, I’d highly recommend it.
