The sixth annual International Talent Search, created jointly by the Italian creative consulting firm EVE and Diesel to showcase young design and photography talent, took place in Trieste, Italy, this weekend. The jury, which included Wilber Das of Diesel, Sophia Kokosalaki, and Colin McDowell, awarded the top prize, the €20,000 Fashion Collection of the Year award, to Ek Thongprasert of Thailand, who showed a series of girlishly mod dresses and coats (above). Taro Horiuchi of Japan won the Diesel Award, which means he’ll be designing a five-piece capsule collection for the denim brand, and Migle Kacerauskiene of Lithuania won the €5,000 Fashion Special Prize. Keep your eyes open for these names.
