Nikes

Sneaker freaks, pay attention. On July 28, Nike and the femme fatale of graffiti, Claw Money, will release a pair of summer-savvy, limited-edition kicks called the Claw Money x Nike Blazer at select stores such as Dave’s Quality Meats in New York and Kendo in Los Angeles. The shoe, which was originally launched as the official footwear of the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers back in 1973, comes in three different colors and features the artist’s trademark three-talon emblem. This marks the first time that Nike has teamed up with a woman for their artist series (a second collaboration between Claw and the sneaker giant is due out in October). “I have been a sneaker head for a long time,” says the Queens native, “but I’m not a baller, I just dress like one.”
