Jeremyscott

The Japanese move fast. That was the general consensus at the Y-3 store opening in Paris last night. Not only had the space undergone an ultra-rapid makeover (it had been home to the Yohji Yamamoto mainline collection only two days before), but Mr. Yamamoto himself was positively gazelle-like in his attendance. Not long after things got underway, rumor spread fast that the designer had arrived. But due to the number of Yohji look-alikes present, all in beards and dark glasses, no one was able to find and congratulate the real Yohji before he disappeared into the night. Not long after he left, Jeremy Scott and his glitter-clad entourage arrived, giving partygoers a fresh topic of conversation. Unlike Yamamoto, Scott’s not publicity-shy. When asked about his impromptu dance performance at the party Colette gave for him two nights earlier, he shrugged and said, “The boys just dragged me up there.”
