Naomi, Eva, Stephanie, Claudia, Angela, and Natalia weren’t the only pretty faces on set at Louis Vuitton’s spring ad campaign. Director and Marc Jacobs gal pal Zoe Cassavetes was behind the scenes too, filming a documentary of the three-day Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shoot. In addition to the supermodels, the ads feature the bags the designer made in collaboration with the artist Richard Prince, and a slew of candy-colored hot rods, including Prince’s own 1970 Dodge Challenger, which is getting its fair share of press these days, having been a subject of his controversial piece, “Pure Thoughts,” at London’s Frieze Art Fair this fall. Style.com will launch the making-of doc next Friday, December 28. Until then, enjoy this exclusive sneak preview.
