Heigl

Katherine Heigl is following up last summer’s "Knocked Up" with a more traditional take on the rom-com: She plays a perpetual bridesmaid looking for love in "27 Dresses," which opens Friday. The film’s screenwriter is Aline Brosh McKenna, who adapted "The Devil Wears Prada." But the real fashion interest is the jewelry Heigl’s character wears, which was supplied by insider favorite—just try to find an editor who doesn’t have one of her best-selling alphabet charms—Helen Ficalora. "It’s a good match," she said. "Katherine Heigl’s character is a wedding designer, and I like to think that my jewelry lets you be your own designer, because you can wear it so many different ways."
