Designer update

packing your suitcase for 2010?

It’s rare that the worlds of sci-fi and fashion make each other’s acquaintance. But both geek and chic mixed it up at Angel Chang’s Fall presentation at Soho’s Renwick Gallery. Chang collaborated with artists
Olaf Breuning, Johannes Wohnseifer, and Tim Dubitsky to tackle the demands of a stylish, futuristic travel wardrobe—one that goes far beyond your typical wrinkle-free khakis. Those of you who would commit
hara-kiri before getting on a flight without your iPod might look into ordering one highly imaginative piece: a glow-in-the-dark coat appliquéd with a Bob Ross-inspired drawing and speakers embedded in
the hood for easy listening. Sounds like sartorial music to our ears.
