gilding the lily

Clubmonaco4

With stores worldwide, Club Monaco knows that great (read: affordable) basics have universal appeal. As part of an effort to get back to their French-influenced roots this fall, the retailer is launching a limited-edition capsule collection based around the fleur-de-lis. The symbol appears on crystal-encrusted gold cuffs, as a chunky pendant on necklaces and charm bracelets, and on buttons and belt buckles. Certain French luxury brands—Givenchy, YSL, Lanvin—showed similarly chunky, iconographic jewelry on their Fall runways, so Club Monaco couldn't be more on point (but still within our budget). The collection hits flagship boutiques in New York, Hong Kong, and Toronto in August.
