Christian Siriano has had a busy 12 months—as he himself will tell you. “We started filming about a year ago,” he told us last night at Buddakan, where a party was being held in his honor. “So let me tell you, girl, it’s been a long one. Talk about a whirlwind. It’s been major. May-jah.” Although Heidi Klum wasn’t in sight (”Love her, she’s FIERCE”), he did explain that she approved of the new summer shooting schedule. “I think they moved things around this season so it could be bigger,” Siriano explained. “Which makes sense. Obviously for me it needed to be bigger.” Later, Siriaino and a few “PR” (that stands for “Project Runway,” not public relations, duh) buddies like David Vosovic and Jack Mackenroth hit up Bungalow 8 for yet another party in his honor (”Love a palm tree, tranny”). Much to his delight, the diminutive designer ran into none other than Mary-Kate Olsen. “You are amazing, Mary-Kate!” he yelled. “I want to make your Met dress. I WANT to make your Met dress!” Olsen, who admitted to watching “PR” at least once, was cordial and said she’d love to see some sketches. So will MK follow in the footsteps of celeb fans Victoria Beckham and Eve and don a Christian Siriano original? To the Met?
