Today’s torch-snuffing Olympic protests in Paris are the latest in a series of disruptions concerning China’s human rights violations in Tibet; will Ralph Lauren rethink becoming an Olympian outfitter? Hillary Clinton’s chief strategist is out of a job, but Condoleezza Rice (soon to be played by Thandie Newton in Oliver Stone’s Bush biopic) may be up for a new one. We’d love to see more Thandie-approved Matthew Williamson in the White House, or, even better, a redesign to keep the new commander in chief on his/her toes.
