Four hyperproductive friends based in Williamsburg who have their sights set on conquering the worlds of art, music and design.
They do the visual branding for hot-shot runway duo (and fellow ex-Miamians) Proenza Schouler, including the windows for Colette, in Paris.
Oh yes, and they also composed the site-specific music for the Proenza Schouler runway show at the National Arts Club in New York
Not exactly. The group just released a CD, The Incomplete Triangle, has an animated music video in the International Paper exhibit at the UCLA Hammer Museum of Art in Los Angeles, and publishes its own newspaper, Death Notice.
The price of (underground) fame: a copycat outfit has created a fake Lansing-Dreiden Web site. Flattery or piracy?
Forthcoming projects include guest editorship of the Miami issue of BIG magazine and a project for the first Prague Biennial. Watch this space.
