Menswear proved one of the most muscular trends at the Fall collections, as designers from Prada to Viktor & Rolf showed tailored silhouettes rendered in pinstripes and tweeds.

"There is nothing more sexy," said Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, "than a woman wearing an exquisite suit, showing only a hint of what lies beneath!"

Leading the androgynous runway charge: Swede thing Madeleine Blomberg, who starred in the Miu Miu campaign, and a 19-year-old Canadian girl named...Ben.

Count on the French for impeccable timing. Sandwiched between the latest women's and men's collections, an exhibit celebrating that cross-dressing doyenne Marlene Dietrich has opened at the Palais Galliera.

In response to the growing number of boys who are buying her womenswear, Véronique Branquinho has taken the next step and started a men's line. (Hussein Chalayan and Viktor & Rolf have, um, followed suit.)

Ennio Capasa of Costume National just showed corsets as part of his Spring 2004 menswear collection.
