The navy blazer has undergone some adaptations in its time (see: Balenciaga Fall 2007), but is there another article of clothing that so readily transports us to a first-period–pre-calc frame of mind? And while it's been, oh, a couple of years since we've seen the inside of a classroom, Tommy Hilfiger's take on the classic jacket instantly rekindles the thrill we used to feel at the prospect of a back-to-school shopping spree. It comes complete with pocket crest and striped trim—and at $189.50, we'll have enough left over for a set of No. 2 pencils and some crisp new notebooks.
