pucci's new bag melds rock 'n' roll and runway
Monday, December 7, 2009
Peter Dundas, now in the top spot at Emilio Pucci after stints at Cavalli and Ungaro, is no stranger to the aristo-rocker vibe that's dominated the catwalks for a few seasons now. His first bag for the storied Italian house, dubbed the Marquise, nails the trend (and Pucci's target audience) with practiced ease. The classic box shape in luxe black suede is toughened up by subtle studs and silver piercings and finished off with a slinky chain-link strap. You can bet it was on the arm of many a party gal at Art Basel Miami Beach this weekend.
