Passage to India

-------

While I wear my Stella McCartney Stella perfume religiously year round, this fall I’m feeling the need for an olfactory update, and Dior‘s new eau de toilette Escale à Pondichéry is looking like my best bet. The fragrance takes its inspiration from India and fittingly includes top notes of cardamom and jasmine with a sandalwood base for an earthy finish. Catching a whiff of this in the morning will be sure to spice up the chilliest day. Click the image to shop.

We Love The Nineties

-------

One look at the matte brown lips on the models who walked Givenchy’s Spring show and it’s clear that the beauty world isn’t immune to fashion’s current obsession with the nineties. I won’t be sporting a mocha pout anytime soon (or bleached eyebrows, for that matter), but the idea of a sepia-hued manicure feels very fresh. I’ll be toting NARS Chinatown nail polish (in my vintage Dooney & Bourke bucket bag, natch) to my next nail appointment.
